Does anyone know of an OCR app that will import to Receipts (not create a Bill or Expense?)

We are an independent auto repair facility with 4 locations in Wisconsin and order parts for virtually every repair order. As such we have hundreds of invoices per week to process. We use QuickBooks Online and set up a forwarding qbodocs.com email. Our major vendors are all emailing invoices. 
The QBO OCR is fairly dismal and matching up invoices is time-consuming.
We are looking for an app that will import the invoices to Receipts, not create a Bill or Expense.

Let's find a way to import the invoice to receipt, cynthia-cordells. 

 

I know the importance of being able to seamlessly import the invoices to receipt to QuickBooks. While this option isn't available, you may consider using a third-party importer tool. We can go to our App store to find a particular application and get this done. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to Apps on the left side menu.
  3. Search for the app in the Find apps to streamline your work field.
  4. Look for the app that supports uploading contracts and other documents.

When we went to our app store did we find "an OCR app that will import to Receipts (not create a Bill or Expense?)" I have searched numerous third-party apps. No offense, but you didn't really answer my question.

Qbo see's items as either credit purchases (invoice) or paid at time of sale (expense).

I'm unsure what you driving at regards "receipts", I'm UK based and terminology may be used differently here. 

So let's go back to first principles.. .

What is it your looking to achieve specifically, what's your destination?
