Question

Does anyone know why my deleted transactions are still showing up in Reconcile? I'm using QuickBooks Online.

I've followed all the instructions on the help site.  I've used Exclude to delete transactions and gone to the Chart of Accounts and deleted them through register so the only place they show up is in Reconcile.

Welcome to QuickBooks Community, info-rescuemepet.  It's nice to hear that you're using QuickBooks Online.

Let's figure out why your deleted transactions still appear on the Reconcile page. I've tried what you exactly did. I excluded/deleted transactions from the bank feed and deleted them from the register. I checked them back, and they are no longer showing in Reconcile.

 

First, we can use the Audit log feature. This feature record all activities made in your account. We can use it to track if someone or other users in your QBO account made changes.

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter. Use the fields on the panel to choose the appropriate details.

 

If confirmed that we deleted them successfully, we can fix using an incognito window. This could be a browser-related issue. A full cache can be caused by odd behavior in the program.

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

 

If it works, you can clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance: Delete browser cache. Another way is to use compatible browsers with QuickBooks Online
