Thanks for raising your concern here, @AjayK76.
Let me help you fix your missing vendor's transaction and guide you on what to do with the recurring transaction window.
To identify if saving the expense transactions isn't a browser-related concern, let's perform some troubleshooting steps. The initial step is to access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via incognito mode. This does not store cache files that may cause odd behaviors when running web-based programs. Below are the shortcut keys you can use:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
Then, access the email containing the link to access your QBO account and create an expense transaction. If this works, clear the cache of your regular browser to eliminate piled-up data. If the issue persists, you can use another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
Currently, whenever you create a recurring transaction or edit it, the window will always close when you click Save Template. With that in mind, I recommend sending direct feedback to our Product Engineers that having the option to save recurring transactions without exiting from the window page is beneficial on your end. They might add this to our future product updates.
You might want to get a report on all the money paid to a vendor for the year. You can run a Transaction List by Date report: Run a report with vendor totals.
