Errors during bank downloads

When we download bank or credit card transactions, we get a rather long error-type message. I have attached a pic of the message. 

 

We have had this before, and it will go away, then come back again.  This time it has been with us for awhile.

It is very annoying because you have to hit OK on the message for every transaction downloaded.

 

If you download 30 bank or CC transactions, you will need to hit OK 3o times to get the downloads done. 

 

It does the downloads, but takes 3 time as long because you have to keep hitting OK when the messages pop up.

 

Anyone else ever see this?

I'll share the steps on how to fix System.TypeInitializationException error. You'll encounter this error when QuickBooks can’t access the fiblueprint.xml file because of user permission restrictions. This usually happens when you use QuickBooks in a hosted, terminal service, or Citrix environment.

 

You'll want to make sure you have appropriate user permission to C:\ProgramData to resolve this. Here's how:

 

  1. Find and open your QuickBooks folder in C:\ProgramData. You can also press F2 on your QuickBooks Home Page to see the location (see the image below).
  2. Locate and double-click on the fiblueprint.xml file.
  3. If the file opens, close it and restart QuickBooks. Retry working on your bank feeds.
  4. If you can’t, you need to grant full access to your profile. To do this:
    1. Right-click anywhere in the folder and select Properties.
    2. Go to the Security tab, then Edit.
    3. In the “Group or user names” section, tap Everyone.
    4. In the “Permissions for Everyone” section, tick Full control.
    5. Close the Edit and Properties windows.
    6. Restart your computer, then open QuickBooks. Retry working on your bank feeds.
