Question

Exporting activity from TD Bank Credit Card to Quickbooks

I have TD Bank Credit Card. I was just told they do not support exporting date into QB. Is it true?

How is it possible? Is there anything I can do to export my CC charges to QB in different way? There are too many to do it manually.

Thank you

Welcome to the Community, @Dagy. Let me walk you through connecting a bank account to QuickBooks Online.

I can see that you can connect your TD bank account to QuickBooks Online. This way, transactions will be downloaded automatically.

Make sure to select the right bank and enter your banking credentials (username and password) correctly by performing these steps:

Continue with these steps:

  1. From the left menu, go to Transactions.
  2. Select Banking.
  3. On the Banking page, select Add Account or Connect Account.
  4. In the Search field, enter the bank's URL.
  5. Select your bank.
  6. If you see multiple options, you may have to repeat these steps to find the correct one.
  7. Enter your User or Login ID and password for the financial institution's website and select Continue.

You can also manually upload your bank transactions to your QuickBooks account. You can go to your bank's website and follow the instructions to download them. I've listed our supported file formats below:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

Once done, you can go back to the Banking menu to match and categorize your bank transactions.

I'll be right here to keep helping if you have any other concerns or questions about banking in QuickBooks Online.

@Dagy

Explore MT Online as a workaround. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
