Exporting from IOP

JasroV ?  THANK YOU for your assistance/response. New question. Does my QB have evidence of a bug??  I exported all my payroll from IOP and QB exported it to a dead and closed Chase bank account!  When I look up a vendor to see what the amount is for the last check I wrote, there is NO history, when I KNOW there is.  Like I mentioned before also in bill pay, I select certain bills to pay and the check prints out with an arbitrary amount. (I will attempt to reinstall the bill pay system, but is there a phone number for QB for this function? Why does QB parcel out things they offer in the QB system, so we don't get the same support? What is a good phone number for the bill pay function? Thanks, Ellen

We can check your setup in exporting your payroll data, Ellen.

In Intuit Online Payroll you can map and select the QuickBooks Online accounts you'll want to export payroll data to. Ensure that you select the correct Bank Account under the Checking Account drop-down. To help you through the process, you can use this link about setting up export of IOP data to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

For the Bill Pay transactions, you can run the Audit Log report to see added, edited, and deleted transactions. Let me show you how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. At the upper-right, click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Audit log.
  4. You can use the Filter drop-down to specify the events.
  5. Click Apply
  6. In the History column, you can click View to see more details.

You'll want to recreate and print the bill and checks you entered if you're unable to see it in the report. If you're using one of our third-party apps in processing vendor transactions, you can reach out to their customer support team.
