Let's make sure you're able to export company data from QuickBooks Online.

 

Unusual behavior in QuickBooks are sometimes caused by outdated and corrupted data stored in your computer. We can perform some troubleshooting steps to make if there are any underlying browser issues.

 

We can start by opening a private browsing window, access QuickBooks, and export your data from there. You can use these keyboard shortcuts below to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N  
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

 

If it works and you're able to export data without error message, you can go back to your regular browsing window and clear it's cache. This will remove outdated and corrupted internet files that's causing some browsing issues.
