Extremely Disappointed in Green Dot Bank and Quickbooks Checking

Hello,

I am a Quickbooks Online customer and very happy with the software to run my business.

With the offering of 3% interest in QB Checking Envelopes, I decided to transfer a large sum of money from another business account to QuickBooks Checking (Envelope).  It said 3 to 5 business days to complete the transaction.  I was without my funds for 10 days and I had to call 5 times into QuickBooks Checking and Green Dot Bank to finally someone asked me to go back to the external bank and get a trace number, which I did and started a case.  It took 2 days after that for the case to get resolved and receive my funds in the Envelope.

The whole experience was horrible and wasted so much of my time and was very unpleasant.

Then I received today an email from Quickbooks that says, my case is closed because they did not see any issue with my debit card?  Debit Card??? My case had nothing to do with Debit Card.

I see significant lack of attention to details and total chaos between the relationship of QuickBooks and Green Dot Bank.

I did not even receive an apology for sitting on my funds for 10 days without interest and wasting so much of my time.

Recommendation to others:

Quickbooks is an awesome Software for running your SMB financials.

Quickbooks Checking and Green Dot Bank are horrible with Zero customer service talent.

Hello,

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend escalating this directly to QuickBooks' Executive Support or filing a complaint with Green Dot’s regulatory department to formally document the issue. Also, if you’re relying on QuickBooks Checking for business transactions, it might be worth considering a secondary account as a backup to avoid similar disruptions in the future.

Thank you Gilbert,

I appreciate your reply and suggestion.

I decided not to stay with QuickBooks Checking and Green Dot Bank, they did not meet my standards of professionalism.  I just wanted others to be aware and not have to go through similar experience.

I am not in the business of having to create backup business bank accounts in case my bank screws up, that is not an option and does not portray a level of confidence in the dealing with a professional institute.

Thanks again for your time and suggestion
