Hi there, @legendary99. Let me provide some steps to help you locate the payment transaction in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

 

The payment will be deposited into the account selected in the Deposit to drop-down on your received payment transaction. If you are unsure which account was selected, follow these steps to review it:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select the All sales tab.
  2. From the Type dropdown, choose Money received.
  3. Locate the correct payment transaction and click Edit to open it.
  4. Check the account in the Deposit to section.

 

Usually, the invoice payments are held in your Undeposited Funds or Payments to deposit so that you can combine them into a single deposit. Otherwise, it will be deposited directly into your account's register if you have chosen the correct bank account.

 

Moreover, all payments received in the Undeposited Funds account automatically appear in the Bank Deposit window. With your deposit slip, you can record a bank deposit and combine the payments in QuickBooks.

 

Furthermore, make sure to reconcile your accounts in QBO every month to confirm that they are balanced and accurate.
