Question

For a credit card that has multiple card holders under the same account why is only one card being pulled over? All account numbers are in the log in for the sharing.

I am seeing all the account numbers in the account information but for some reason only the first account is being pulled over for recording the transactions. I can't understand why.

Let me share information on how to get all the transactions from your credit card account connected to your QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When connecting your bank or credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online (QBO), it is important to know what method your bank uses to send downloaded transactions. I suggest contacting your bank and asking regarding this matter, as this helps set up your credit card account in QBO, especially if it has multiple cardholders under the same account.

Moreover, you have to connect subaccounts and not the parent account to have the details of your multiple cardholders downloaded transactions. I recommend scanning this article to understand more about setting up a sub-account in QBO: About bank or credit card sub-account setup

You can also utilize this visual reference on connecting your credit card account in QBO: How to connect your bank account and credit cards.

Furthermore, after downloading your transactions, QuickBooks will automatically suggest categories for such transactions, based on what you and other customers have identified as comparable transactions. It helps you determine tax deductions and find out where your business's money is going. You can visit this article to understand more about classifying transactions in QBO: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
