For QB self-employed, how do I pair a scanned receipt with a transaction? They are both appearing in my transaction log. thank you

I'll share the steps on how to pair scan receipts. You can manually add the receipts to the transactions it belongs to.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions tab. 
  2. Select the transaction you want to add the receipt to open.
  3. Under the Receipt section, tap the browse link.
  4. Click Save.

After that, you'll have to categorize your transactions. It enables you to organize your income and expenses. You can check the process through this article: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
