There are some possible reasons why bank transactions won't download, @Q2control. Allow me to share the steps to help you.

Since you've encountered bank error 102 while trying to download the bank transactions, it indicates a potential issue on your bank's end, which may affect the online bank connection to QuickBooks. To confirm this, please reach out to your associated bank to check for any system issues on their end.

In the meantime, we can perform some steps to update your bank connection in QBO:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Transactions tab and select Bank Transactions.
  3. Click the Update button.

If the issue persists, you may sign in to your account using an incognito or private browser, as this ignores data history and prevents websites from using cookies:

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P

If this works, let's clear the browser's cache so the system can refresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser.

Alternatively, we can have the option to upload bank transactions into QBO manually. To proceed, we need to download a CSV file of your transactions by signing in to your bank's website. For complete guidance, please refer to this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, let's review the downloaded bank transactions and organize them with the correct accounts: Categorize online bank transactions in QBO.

Please let us know if you need additional assistance with banking or any QuickBooks-related questions. Take care.
