Funds pending for over 6 months

A transaction from my checking to a rental place never went thru. Why are the funds not back in my account yet, when it happened sept 18th? Also happened in April at a gas station where he didn’t hear me right and put the wrong amount in for gas. These are totaling $800, and I’m just curious why they were deposited directly back into my account?

I see that the processing of your funds has taken a while. Let me share some information that will help clarify the reasons for the delays, @Everlastingturf.

 

The possible reason your deposit is taking longer than the standard schedule may be that your account is currently under review. The review takes 3-5 business days. You'll receive an email with details. This email will also include a link to the Resolution Center and outline additional steps to fix it.

If you can’t find any email, check your spam or junk folder. If it’s still not there, I recommend contacting our Payment Support team. They have the necessary tools to pull your account and check on this further in a secure environment.

 

Regarding your last question,  once there is an issue with the payment in your checking, the funds will be returned directly to your connected bank account.
