Has anyone else noticed qb showing items as downloaded and cleared by bank this week that are not?

My pos posts a je with cc deposits and cash on separate lines, nothing changed there but all of a sudden this week, when the cc downloads from bank and is matched, qb is also clearing the cash deposit at the same time, though that is done later in a manual deposit. Is this an update glitch?

Thank you for adding a post here in the Community, @lkenprice. I can share with you some information about downloaded banking transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Banking rules can cause transactions to be cleared automatically. It can be the factor why your items or transactions are cleared even if they're not. To isolate the issue, you can check your bank rules following these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on Banking at the left pane, then select Rules.
  3. Review your rules from there.

 

If you want to delete a rule:

 

  1. Tap on Edit under Actions from the Rules window.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Hit Yes to confirm the request.
