Has anyone had transactions that failed to port into QBO automatically? I had one last month and another a few days ago. Thanks

I'll help you fix the transactions that failed to port into QuickBooks Online (QBO), @mdvchurchnaples. Thus, you can categorize it and reconcile it anytime you're ready. 

 

Happy to walk you through various troubleshooting steps to help fix the failed transaction in QBO. 

 

If you're referring to your bank's transaction, I'd recommend manually updating the bank connection. Thus your latest transactions will show up without delay. Please note that for most banks, QuickBooks downloads the latest available transactions every night around 10 PM PT. Proceed with the following steps:

 

  1. Go to the Banking tab on the left side. 
  2. Click the Update button. 
  3. Review the data again.


If the problem persists, I'd suggest visiting your bank's website. After you've logged in, check for any messages, notifications, alerts, or new security requirements that require your attention. Also, if you change any bank information on your website, make the necessary changes in QuickBooks. This way, the connection will not be interrupted. If you're using a third-party application, I'd suggest calling their support if you're utilizing a third-party program. They can look into what prevented the transactions from transferring in QBO.
