Question

Have seen multiple reports of connection errors (103, 102) to Wells Fargo bank and have tried associated troubleshooting tips. Anyone have suggestions that have worked?

Wells Fargo updated their interface last week and I have been unable to connect since. Have confirmed credentials and tried private browser window (to avoid cached creds) to no avail. Any other tips?

Let's get this sorted out, @alanaid.

Thanks for sharing the initial steps you've performed to get rid of that banking errors. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), banking error 103, usually means the user ID or password is incorrect for the bank account you’re trying to connect. To fix this, you have to ensure that your log in credentials is correct.

On the other hand, bank error 102 is usually caused by a problem from your bank's end. The website may be undergoing maintenance or have server issues. The recommended troubleshooting steps for this is to manually update your bank in QBO and check your bank's website for any messages, notifications, or alerts that you need to address.

If you've already performed the recommended solutions to fix the banking errors, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care team for additional assistance. They have tools to check the root cause of the issue and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

You can also manually upload your bank transactions to QBO using a CSV file. Once they are in, you'll have to categorize them to ensure they are allocated to the correct accounts in your company file.

Feel free to post again here if you have any other banking concerns. I'm just a post away to help. Have a good one.
