Hello, does anyone know how to switch from self employed to simple start?

I'd be glad to share you the steps on how to switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

The option to upgrade subscription through QuickBooks App using iOS or MacBook devices is unavailable in the program. This feature is only applicable if we're doing it through web browsers. 

When you're ready to switch, I'll show you how to import your data and switch your subscription. Please know that we can't undo this process once it's done. 

1. Select the Gear icon, then click Billing info.
2. If you see the Explore QuickBooks Online plans, select it to start the upgrade.
3. Click Switch plan or Choose plan for the QuickBooks Online plan you want.
4. Follow the on-screen steps.
   Note: If you want to save a copy of your reports before you move everything, click the Download your reports link.
5. Select Bring my data if you want to choose which data you move over. If you don't want to move any data and start fresh, click Start fresh.
6. When you're ready to move your data to QuickBooks Online, select To QuickBooks Online. If you see a billing info review screen, click Change plan to start.

The transfer can take some time. When it's done, you can now start your new accounting experience in QuickBooks Online Simple Start.

In case you don't see the Explore QuickBooks option, it means you'll need to manually move your data. The steps on how to import your data to QBO, and cancel QBSE are outlined in this article: How to Move Your Data to QuickBooks Online.
