I've got you covered, @sarah-rightfitse.

I appreciate you reaching out to the Community forum. I can certainly help you with your concern about undoing the added transaction from the banking tab.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), once you click the Add button of a downloaded transaction in the For review tab, it will be added as a brand-new transaction. Thus, it will be transferred to the Categorized tab since they're recorded in QuickBooks.

Once you click the Add button next to a downloaded transaction in the For review tab of QuickBooks Online (QBO), a brand-new transaction will be added. Since they are recorded in QuickBooks, they will be moved to the Categorized tab.

That said, we can navigate to the Categorized tab and let's undo the mistakenly added transaction. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and choose the Banking tab.
  2. Select the tile for the appropriate bank or credit card account.
  3. Go to the Categorized tab.
  4. Locate and select the transaction you incorrectly added.
  5. Click the Undo button from the Action column.

After that, the undone transactions will now go back to the For review tab. You can now review your transactions again and categorize them appropriately. Here's an article for your reference on the process: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If you're good with your transactions, you can now proceed to reconcile an account in QBO. If everything matches, you know your accounts are balanced and accurate.

Please let me know how these steps work out and if you have any follow-up questions about managing your bank transactions in QBO. Just click the Reply button to add your comment so I can assist you further. Have a great day!
