Hello I’m having trouble with my QuickBooks banking not allowing me to match an accept deposits

Can you share if you encounter any error messages? There are several reasons the QuickBooks program prevent you from matching transaction. Please check the following criteria:

• The transaction is older than 180 days
• The dollar amount in QuickBooks is different than what cleared the bank.
• The transaction type is different in QuickBooks than at the bank. QuickBooks wants to match a check with a check and an expense with an ACH or debit/credit card swipe.
• The transaction was recorded in a different bank account.
• The transaction from the bank is a payment/ deposit of two or more open transactions in QuickBooks.

To fix this, let's ensure that the amount and the bank account are the same. Then, we can use the Find Match option to search for deposits or entries.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu, select a transaction in the For Review tab.
2. Click the Find match button.
3. On the Match transactions window, choose the specific date to show all transactions that match with the deposit.
