Hello, when my bank account updates the new balance shows but no transactions come through. I have manually updated successfully several times but only the balance change

LIke I said my bank account balance updates but no transactions are coming through even when I update manually.

Thanks for sharing your banking concerns in the Community today, @doug-radiateener. I'll help you bring your transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Since the bank updated, we can check to see if the issue may be on the bank’s end by signing in to your bank’s website.

 

Let's first get the URL QuickBooks uses to connect. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then select Link account
  2. Search for your bank and select it.
  3. Copy the URL listed for your bank.
  4. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website using the copied URL.

 

If you can sign in without any issues, that means there isn't a major issue. Then, check the following:

 

  1. Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  3. Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

 

If everything looks good, go back to QuickBooks:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select Update.
