Hello there, mark. You only have 60 days from the time you create your QBO account to move your data. Otherwise, you'll have to manually export your lists from QBDT, and then export them to QBO.

Start by exporting your QBDT lists to an Excel or CSV file. Here's how:

  1. Open the File menu and select Utilities.
  2. Then, click on Export.
  3. Choose the lists and transactions you want to export
  4. Save the file to your computer.

After that, you can import the following information to your QBO company. Click on each of them to find out more ideas about transferring data. Please note that these are the only data that can be uploaded manually to QBO:

We've also gathered some frequently asked questions about importing in QBO that you can explore.

I understand that this process may take some time and effort. Please keep in mind that there may be some differences in features and functionality between QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, so you may need to adjust your workflows accordingly.

If the previous recommendation won't work for you, I suggest signing up for a new QBO subscription or using a third-party importer tool that can be integrated with QuickBooks. This will then allow you to transfer your desired data successfully.

You may browse the QuickBooks Online Help page to get some useful steps and video tutorials about getting started with QBO.

Which year version of QB Desktop do you have? You should signup for a new QBO account instead to re-convert from your QB Desktop file.
