Hi, Is there a way to go back and "undo" all transactions done on a certain date? Thank you, Erica

Great to have you here, erica14.

If you are referring to undoing bank transactions, we can unmatch them for a certain period. Just choose the date in the Categorized section and manually undo them. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select tile for the bank or credit card account you downloaded the transaction from.
  3. Select the Categorized tab.
  4. Find the transaction you want to unmatch.
  5. Select the blue transaction link in the Added or Matched column to see the matched transaction.

This disconnects the two transactions and the original downloaded transaction will go back to the For Review tab. Then, find the correct match again. To learn more about this one, see the Unmatch downloaded bank transactions or move them to another account article.  If you are trying to undo transactions from reconciliations, just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Click Chart of Accounts.
  3. Find the account holding the transaction. Then tap View register
  4. Choose the transaction you want to unreconcile to expand the view.
  5. Review the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an “R.”
  6. Tap the checkbox. This changes the letter in the box. Keep selecting it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  7. Press Save.
  8. Close the account register.

See Undo or remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online article for more details about this one. Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insights about managing your bank feeds and reconciling accounts.

I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Just reply to this post if you are referring to something else and I'll get back to you. Take care always.
