Thanks for sharing your reconciliation concern here in the Community, @ezml.

I'm here to share some insights regarding making corrections to a submitted reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.

The option to undo and make corrections to the reconciliation is only available to the Accountant version of QuickBooks. To change the date of your reconciliation, you may reach out to your accountant.

From there, your accountant can perform these procedure below to undo the reconciliation and start over:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Find the account holding the transaction. Then select View register
  4. Select the transaction you want to unreconcile to expand the view.
  5. Review the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an “R.” User-added image
  6. Select the checkbox. This changes the letter in the box. Keep selecting it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Close the account register.

For complete details about this process, please see this link: Undo or remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, you might also consider leaving the date as it is and just make sure to select the correct end date the next time you reconcile. Know that an incorrect date doesn't affect any balances and will not prevent you from future reconciliation

My doors are always open to help if there's anything else you need, @ezml. Just leave a reply below and we'll take it from there. Have a nice day!
