HiCan I assign multiple transactions to the same account at once? Or do I have to do them individually?

I'll share some information about your concern in assigning multiple transactions to the same account at once in QuickBooks Online.

Before we proceed, could you please let me know which transactions you would like to reclassify? Since, some transactions may not be reclassified due to their connection to specific accounts and features. I appreciate any details you can provide. I’m looking forward to your reply.

If you are currently using QuickBooks Online Advance or QuickBooks Online Accountant, you can use the reclassify tool to make changes to multiple transactions at once to save you time. Here's how:

In QuickBooks Online Accountant:

1. Open your client’s QuickBooks Online company.
2. Select the Accountant Tools, then Reclassify transactions.

In QuickBooks Online Advanced:

1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
2.  Click on the Gear Icon, then Reclassify transactions.

Once the tool is open, here's what you'll do next: 

1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu. Then, choose Reclassify Transactions.
2. From the Account types dropdown menu, select Profit and Loss to see income and expense accounts. Or select Balance Sheet to see your asset, liability, and equity accounts.
3. From the Account list, select the account with the transactions you want to change.
4. Use these types, class, customer/vendor, and modify filters to filter the list. You can also select Accrual to see all paid and unpaid transactions or Cash to see only paid transactions.
5. Click Find Transactions.
6. Choose the checkbox for each transaction you want to change.
7. Tap Reclassify.
8. Select a new account to move the transactions to from the Change account to dropdown, a new class from Change class to dropdown, or a new location from the Change location to dropdown.
9. When you’re ready, press Apply.
