I'm here to help you add your different business credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online (QBO), Jsirmons.

Connecting your credit card account in QBO can help you automatically import transactions, saving you time and effort. You can also connect multiple businesses and personal bank accounts to keep your business information updated.

Here are the steps to connect your credit card account:

1. Go to the Transactions menu, then choose Bank transactions.

2. Select Link Account.

3. Type the URL or name of your bank in the Search field, then choose the bank. If you can’t find your bank, you can manually upload your transactions instead.

4. Input your sign-in info in the Login and Password fields, then click Continue

5. Select the account that you want to connect and date to pull transactions from the dropdown menu. Then, select Connect. It's important to note that some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions, while others can go back as far as 24 months.

6. Choose your account type on the Account type dropdown, then click Next. Pick the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks. If you don’t see the correct account type, select +Add new.

For new credit card accounts:

  • From the Account Type dropdown, select Credit Card.
  • Enter the name of the account and then click Save and Close.

7. Map the bank account in the Existing accounts dropdown, then select Next.

8. Click Connect, then select Done. You can edit the account name in the New account name field or change it later.

9. To download your recent transactions, go to Transactions, then choose Bank transactions.

10. Click Update.

If you mean that you want to update your billing information. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Subscriptions and billing.
  2. Next to your payment method, select Edit.
  3. This will launch the Wallet list. From this view you can:
    a. Edit the payment method used for QuickBooks Online billing (expiration date, billing address, account holder name).
    b. Add a new payment to be used for QuickBooks Online billing.
    c. Switch QuickBooks Online billing to previously stored payment method.
  4. After saving your change, the payment method will be displayed on the Subscriptions and billing page.

Now that you have connected your business credit card account, you can review and categorize the downloaded bank transactions to organize your charts of accounts accurately.
