I can share a few steps to connect your bank account in QuickBooks Online. You'll have to go to the Transactions menu and click the Link Account button. If this is the first bank account you've set up, select Connect account.

Please follow the complete steps below:

  1. Go to Transactions and then select Banking.
  2. Click Connect account or Link account if you already created one.
  3. In the Search field, enter the name of your bank, credit card, or credit union. Alternatively, you can copy your online banking URL and paste it into the Search field.
  4. Select Continue. Then sign in to your bank with your online banking user ID and password.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps. This might include security checks your bank requires. It could take a few minutes to connect.
  6. Select the accounts you want to connect, then select the account type ▼dropdown. Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.
  7. Hit Connect.

Please know that some banks can get the last 90 days of transactions while others can go back as far as two years. I'm adding this article as your reference: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online. This includes the details to connect your bank account from your chart of accounts.

Furthermore, if you need a guide with matching entries that are already in the system, feel free to review this guide: Match and categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.
