How can I create a Bank Downloads Transaction Listing?

I'm looking to create a listing, or an Excel export, of the Bank download Transactions we need to research.

Does anyone know of a way to either create a report in QBDT to print this list or to export to Excel?

Or,
Does anyone know of a 3rd party Extension which can product this list?

The workaround we've been using is a bit tedious and involves manually categorizing all the transactions needing further review to accounts name Unknown Deposits or Unknown Expenses, and then exporting the lists to Excel.

It's double-work, but at least its better than nothing.

I look forward to your suggestions

Do you need to export bank transaction data to XLS as follows?

TxnDatePrivateNoteCurrencyExchangeRateDepositToAccountEntityLineDescLineAmountAccount

Fiat Lux, Thank you for the response.

In answer to your question, we need to export these items so that we can research them OFFLINE.

Also, in your example, you have assumed that all records coming into the Bank Downloads are "complete" and fully formed. One of my CPA's and I are working today and both have seen that the name CHASE MEMBER SERVICES was transmitted and received as ASE MEMBER SERVICES and CITGO MEMBERS was transmitted and received as TGO MEMBERS.

So, because downloads -- from banks, merchant sites or other sources -- are never 100% "accurate" we need to hold thr transaction for further investigation. That's just plain good processing and prevents
mistakes from finding their ways into corporate books.

Do you see the request, now?

Regards,
