I'm here to ensure you're able to cancel your QuickBooks account, @victoriauribe97-.

It's sad to know that you're canceling your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, but I'm here to make the process easy for you. Please follow these steps I’ve laid out below:

  1. Sign in as an Admin to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select the Gear icon, and choose Account and Settings.
  3. Click Billing and Subscription.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel (paid subscription) or Cancel Trial (if you’re using a trial).
  5. Select Continue to Cancel, then Continue to Cancel again.
  6. Finally, answer the exit survey questions (to help us make QuickBooks better), then scroll down and select Confirm Cancel.

Here's an article for more details: How to cancel your subscription.

You'll want to visit this article to know what to expect when you cancel your account in QBO: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?

If you're still unable to cancel your account, I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Care Support. They can help you process the cancelation in a secure environment.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online Company.
  2. Click (?) Help at the upper right corner.
  3. Select Contact US on the pop-up.
  4. Enter a brief description of your concern then hit Continue.
  5. Click Get a callback.
  6. Enter your contact information.
  7. Select Call me.

You can check out this article for our most updated contact information: Support hours and types.

Once canceled, we hang on to your data for one year. That said, you may want to download some reports to have a closer look at your business's finances. I've added this article as your guide: Run payroll reports.
