It's great to see you in the Community today, smmpropertiesnml.

I'm here to assist and provide the help you need to download your receipts. You can easily complete this task with just a few clicks.

Before we get started, can you clarify if the downloaded receipts are recorded in another software or in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If they're in QBO, we'll go to the Attachments page to download them.

Here's how:

  1. In your company, navigate to the Gear icon in the upper right and choose Attachments under Lists
  2. On the Attachments page, tick the boxes for the receipts you're working on.
  3. Click the Batch actions drop-down and choose Export
  4. A ZIP file will download to your computer.
  5. Open the file to show all the receipts you selected.

Furthermore, this reference offers additional details about the process: Export your receipts in QuickBooks Online. It includes instructions on how to export a single receipt as well as receipts that are associated with a transaction.

I've compiled some resources that you can use in the future. They cover topics such as receipt management and ways to correctly categorize them for your accounts. Browse through each link below for detailed steps:

Reach out to me again if you have additional questions about downloading your transactions and other product-related concerns. I'll be glad to lend a helping hand. Enjoy your weekend, smmpropertiesnml.

Thank you, this batch export is exactly what I was looking for.  The bookeeper helper told me I'd have to do one at a time.  Anyhow, for whatever reason, on the Attachment tab, no matter what quantity I select 50, 75,150, 300 (trying to use 75 as each attachment is about 1/2 MB and I know there is a 100MB limit per export) is only downloading about 1/2 of each....makes hard to know where it stops and ends.

I appreciate you sharing your concern here in this thread, @ml5219.

Let me assist you in exporting the attachments and provide ways to help you fix this.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can try to have five or ten attachments when importing. This way, the attachments will download accurately.

Here's how:

  1. On the upper right corner, look for the Gear icon.
  2. Select Attachments.
  3. On the Attachments tab, tick the boxes you want to export. Please note that you can have five to ten attachments.
  4. From the Batch actions dropdown, choose Export.
  5. A file called ZIP file will download onto your computer.
  6. Once done, open the file to show all the attachments.

Additionally, here's an article you can browse just in case you need assistance voiding and deleting a transaction in QBO: Void or delete transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I'll always be around any time you require additional assistance managing attachment receipts. Let me know in this thread so I can further back you up. Keep safe, and have a good one.
