I can share some insights about opening a bank account.

 

If you're referring to connecting your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed(QBSE). You can follow these steps.

 

1. Go to the Settings ⚙.

2. Select Bank accounts.

3. Click Connect another account.

4. In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account. QuickBooks Self-Employed will automatically download your recent bank transactions.

 

Also, to open a new bank account, I'd suggest contacting your bank for the requirements.

 

Once the transaction downloaded, you can check the guides here on how to categorize them.
