I’m here to help you reconcile the 2019 statement in QuickBooks, @Steve1988.

QuickBooks offers a way to reconcile an account from a completed reconciliation. However, you’ll need to manually unreconcile your previous transactions first or the entire year before you can reconcile your old statement.

Here are the steps to unreconcile individual events:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. Find the account holding the transaction, then select View register.
  4. Select the transaction you want to unreconcile to expand the view.
  5. In the Check column, keep selecting it until the box is blank.
  6. Select Save.

You can also refer to this reference to undo an entire reconciliation in the program. This option is only available in QuickBooks Online Accountant. You may wish to consult with your accountant regarding this matter. This way, they can help you with the process.

Once done, you can now proceed to this guide to reconcile your account. It contains complete instructions to make sure everything matches your bank and credit card statements.

I’ll be here anytime if you need additional help with reconciliation. Wishing you continued success!
