Hello @DianaAP,

Thank you for posting here in the Community about your bank reconciliation. I'm here to help you correct it to ensure your account is accurate and error-free in QuickBooks Online.

Even small changes or adjustments can unbalance your accounts. To minimize the impact, QBO users are given the option to unreconcile one transaction at a time.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Chart of accounts under Your Company.
  3. Find the account.
  4. Click View register.
  5. Look for the transaction.
  6. Select the transaction to expand the view (if the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an “R” in the checkmark ✔ column).
  7. In the checkmark ✔ column, select the box with the “R” until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  8. Hit Save.

If you need to start over, reach out to your accountant. Accountants can undo an entire reconciliation using the QuickBooks Online for Accountants (QBOA) version.

Also, QuickBooks Online automatically generates a report for your reconciled transactions. It can help if you have trouble reconciling the following month and when you work with your accountant.

I've attached a link that can help resolve reconciliation issues, like how to correct account balances and transactions: Fix issues at the end of a reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.
