How can I see my bank register with all my expenses and deposits in one place

I can help you show your expenses and deposits in one place in the specific account in QuickBooks Online, lboender.

 

Filtering is exclusive to transactions in the Chart of Accounts. The option to view expenses and deposits at once is unavailable. What you can do is run a report for a specific account from the Chart of Accounts and customize it to see all the expenses and deposits.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Transactions and select Chart of accounts.
  2.  Find the account you're interested in.
  3. Select Run report in the Action column or the View register dropdown list.
  4. Click on Columns in the upper right corner, then select Reorder.
  5. Look for Transaction Type (Transaction line items) and check the box.
  6. Click Run Report.
