Allow me to provide information on syncing your account and having your transactions over in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), Linda.

QuickBooks relies on the data provided by your financial institution. Therefore, missing transactions may occur due to delays or interruptions in the bank connection and the program. It can also be your bank is currently undergoing maintenance. To verify this, please contact your local bank institution or visit their website.

Additionally, we can check if they have already been synced in QuickBooks by selecting All for the TypeAccount, and Date filters to ensure that no transactions are overlooked.

If they still don't appear, we can perform basic troubleshooting on your account to check why this is happening. First, let's review if this is a browser-related issue. Let's start by opening your account in a private browser as it ignores historical data.

These are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the error is fixed after this, then the issue is likely caused by your browser. You'll want to clear your regular browser cache.

On the other hand, there is also an option for us to get older transactions directly from your bank and or manually import them to your online account using a CSV file. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Profile ⚙ icon and select Imports.
  2. Select Import transactions.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Select Import.

I'll be including these helpful resources that contains additional information these processes. Please feel free to visit them:

For future reference, check out this article to organize your transactions: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm only a click away if you have more queries and updates on syncing your transactions and any other QuickBooks-related matters. I'll be on the lookout, stay safe.

@linda7421

You can use one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Does money thumb sync with quickbooks

February 28, 2025

Thank you for your inquiry about Money Thumb and QuickBooks Self-employed (QBSE) integration, Randallhunt. I'll discuss the specifics below.

We can only sync or add banking and financial institutions in QBSE. For now, integrating other financial leadership apps such as Money Thumb is currently unavailable. However, you can upload banking transactions in QBSE if you're able to convert the file from Money Thumb into a CSV file.

Here's how to manually upload them:

  1. Go to the Profile ⚙ icon and select Imports.
  2. Select Import transactions.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Click Import.

You can also refer to this article for more details about the process: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Keep in touch if there's anything else you'd like to ask about connecting third-party apps in QBSE. We'll be available around whenever you need us. Stay safe!
