Let me help you with managing multiple businesses and sharing access in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Beemi62. I’d be happy to provide information on these topics.

You can track more than one business within QuickBooks by creating multiple companies under a single login. Each company file is its own paid subscription and if you need to switch between companies, you can access them with the same login information. This allows you to efficiently switch between different businesses and manage everything more efficiently.

On the other hand, yes, you can also share access to your QuickBooks account with family members by adding them as other users. However, it's also important to note that when you add a user, your subscription level determines how many users you can add. Here are the steps to add another user to manage your transactions:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage Users.
  2. Select Add User, then enter the user’s name and email address.
  3. Note: Special characters aren’t allowed other than a period on the user’s name. For the email field, you can use a period and the @ character.
  4. Select the Roles ▼ dropdown, then select the role you want to assign to the user.
  5. Review the features this role gives access to. You can expand each section.
  6. Select the Account management settings you want to manage (if applicable for the chosen role).
  7. Select Send invitation.

You can learn more on this topic through this informative Community article: Add and manage users.

Furthermore, I'd like to share this comprehensive article about importing your lists to your new company that you can refer to in the future: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.
