How do I change an already reconciled account? I need to delete transactions and add other ones.

I got your back, @marcuscluckey-gm.

Welcome, and thanks for dropping by the Community. I can provide details about changing a reconciled account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To change or undo a transaction on a reconciled account, all you need to do is to remove its R (reconciled) status in the register. Please refer to these steps on how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Accounting menu at the left pane.
  2. Proceed to the Chart of Accounts tab.
  3. Locate the account, then tick View register under the Action column.
  4. Select the transaction you want to unreconcile to expand the view.
  5. In the checkmark ✔ column, select the box with the “R” until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.

  6. Hit Save.

Once done, you can now delete or edit the transaction by double-clicking it.
