I’m here to ensure you get the assistance needed to change your bank account information in QuickBooks Online (QBO), ri-shrm.

To change a bank account connected to your company file, we’ll need to establish a new connection with your new banking solution. Before that, we can disconnect your previous bank account from the system.

Before taking any action, make sure to categorize transactions from the For Review tab as they will be deleted. Additionally, any transactions older than 90 days will not be available for automatic download.

Afterward, here’s how you can establish a new connection:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, and select Bank Transactions.
  2. From there, tap the Link Account button.
  3. Type in your bank’s URL or bank name in the Search field. Then select the bank.
  4. Enter your Login information in the Login and Password section, then select Continue.
  5. Select the account you want to connect and the date to pull transactions from the dropdown ▼. Then, select Next.
  6. Select your account type on the Account type ▼ dropdown, then select Next

Once done, you can check out these articles on categorizing your transactions and reconciling your account. Doing so will put your transactions in the correct category and avoid any discrepancies in your books:

I encourage you to post back to this thread if you need further assistance with connecting bank accounts or any QuickBooks-related tasks. I’m always here to help. Take care!
