Hello there, Rhonda.

Thank you for reaching out about changing the date of the credit card charges linked to your QuickBooks Online account. Let me guide you with the process.

If you are trying to change the date initially selected to pull up transactions from your credit card account, please note that once the account is connected, directly changing the date range is unavailable within QuickBooks Online. In this case, you would need to disconnect the account and then reconnect it with the desired date.

However, if you are trying to change the date for the downloaded credit card charges that are already in QuickBooks Online, you can enable the editable date field to modify it. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and choose the Banking tab.
  2. Select your bank account.
  3. Go to the For review tab. Then, click the small gear icon.
  4. Place a checkmark in the Editable date field.
  5. Choose the transaction and make the necessary changes.

In case you need to remove the uploaded transaction, you can exclude and delete them. You can see this article for guidance: Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online. After removing, review the date of your bank transactions in the CSV file you need to import.

Also, you might be able to use this article if you encounter unexpected behaviors or results while in the Banking page: What to do if you see a bank error or bank transactions won’t download.

Let me know if you have any other QuickBooks or banking questions. I'm always here to help. Have a good day!
