How do I connect a bank account to be able to get paid? When I created my account, I wasn't asked if I wanted to connect my bank.

Connecting bank accounts to QuickBooks will only transmit data from your bank. You can link multiple business and personal bank accounts in QuickBooks to keep your information updated and save time by automatically downloading recent transactions.

Here's how you can connect your bank account:

1. Navigate to Transactions, then Bank transaction.
2. Click Link account and enter your bank's name in the search bar.
   
   
    
3. Enter your Login and Password, then click Continue.
   
    
4. Choose the account you want to connect to and enter the account type.
5. Select the date you want to start pulling transactions for the selected account, then click Connect.
   
    
6. Once all set, click Done.
   

Alternatively, if you wish to receive payments from your customers, you can sign up for QB Payments. This service enables your customers to pay using PayPal, Venmo, credit cards, or ACH bank transfers. Once registered, you can integrate your QB payment account with QuickBooks Online. This setup allows you to select the accounts where you want to deposit customer payments and ensures the transactions flow directly to your banking page for seamless management.
