Thanks for joining the QuickBooks Community forum and sharing your concerns. I'm here to impart information about exporting your QuickBooks Online data to TurboTax.

It is not currently possible to import QuickBooks Online data directly into TurboTax. You can do so by using QuickBooks Self-Employed or QuickBooks Desktop. You may want to consider having these subscriptions so you can export your tax file to TurboTax.

For a comprehensive walkthrough on importing the data into TurboTax, refer to these articles:

Thanks,  I don’t own QB Desktop or Sellf-Employed.  Is there a free version of either?  Seems odd that you cannot import data from online QB to TurboTax.

@gtorbenson-azsod

You need to convert your data to QB Desktop file as the first step.

How do I convert my data to QB Desktop file within QB Simple Start?  I do not see this as an iption.  I do not have QB desktop or QB self-employed.  My data is only in QB Simple Start.   Thanks
