How do I delete a linked external bank account from Quickbooks Checking?

I can share some information about deleting the linked external bank account from your QuickBooks Checking account, @majorx37.

 

At this time, you can't delete the linked external bank account from your QuickBooks Checking account. However, you can add another account that you can use moving forward.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Cash Flow menu and select QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Choose Transfer and click on Add a bank.
  3. Provide the necessary information about this bank account. 
  4. Follow the prompts to finish adding this account. 

 

Within the next three days, QuickBooks will make two small deposits to the account. Recheck the transactions in QuickBooks when you see the deposits in your account.
