How do I delete my QB checking account that was automatically created for me?

I'll help share information about your checking account with QuickBooks Payments in QuickBooks Online.

Firstly, customers who can process payments online are entitled to use the QuickBooks Checking account. By default, it is used to store funds you have received from the processed online payments by your customers.

Saying you want to delete this account which confirms you don't want to use this account to house your funds, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. You can work with one of our specialists in changing the details of your receiving account information and discuss the options for deletion. For now, let's consider transferring funds free of charge with your QuickBooks Checking account. You can use an envelope to move funds, in and out, of your checking account. Let's create one first:

1. Go to Cash Flow.
2. Under Envelopes, select Add envelope.
3. Enter the name of your new envelope.
4. Type in the amount you want to save. 
5. Select a target date
6. Click Finish.
