Let me guide you on how to disconnect and delete your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), usertony-hallum.

Before we proceed with the process, make sure to add and match all the pending transactions on the Banking page. Please take note that disconnecting the automatic online banking updates will delete any transactions in the For Review tab.

After that, follow the steps below to disconnect the account:

1.    Go to Banking on the left pane, then select Banking at the top.
2.    Choose the account you want to change, and then click Edit (pencil icon).
3.    Tick Edit account info.
4.    In the Account window, check the box next to Disconnect this account on save.
5.    Hit Save and Close.

For more details about this one, see the Disconnect or delete accounts connected to online banking article. To delete an account is a permanent process in QBO. Wherein, you won't see it on menus or lists anymore.  Before you start, it would be best to reach out to your accountant. Then, make sure this change is right for you. Once you make an account inactive, it's very difficult to undo. For the steps and details, see the Delete an account on your chart of accounts in the QuickBooks Online article.
