Before performing getting the app, your tablet should meet the following requirements.

 

  • The user interface is optimized for 1024px by 768px-size screens in landscape mode.
  • If the device will only be used to run the QuickBooks Time kiosk feature, a large number of GBs is not necessary.
  • When selecting a device, consider whether it will have access to Wifi. If not, choose a device that also has cellular internet capabilities.
  • The operating system requirements are:
    • iPad: iOS 8.0+
    • Android: OS 6.0+
  • iPad provides the best user experience.

 

Here are some tablets that meet the above requirements:

 

It's better to purchase the correct model number for Android devices. Older or newer model numbers might not be compatible with the app.

 

To install the app, you'll first need to install the Kiosk feature on your QuickBooks Time account. Here's how:

 

  1. On a computer, in QuickBooks Time, go to Feature Add-ons, then select Manage Add-ons.
  2. Scroll down to Kiosk, and select Install.

If you'd like to add the Kiosk feature to your device, you can follow these steps.

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Time.
  2. Go to Feature Add-ons.
  3. Click Time Kiosk.
  4. Hit the +Add Device.
  5. Then follow the on screen steps.

 

 

However, if you want to install the Kiosk, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Feature Add-ons tab.
  2. Click Manage Add-ons.
  3. In the search bar look for the Kiosk then Install.
