Question

How do I find a missing deposit that is showing up as deposited on the customer's accounts? It does show up in the register.

Sorry, It does not show up in the register.  It will not allow me to edit or delete the checks received until I delete the deposit, but the deposit is not in the register

When accessing a register, you can set filters for which transactions you want displayed. It's possible this may explain why you're not seeing a particular deposit.

 

Here's how to change or remove filters:
 

  1. From the Chart of accounts screen, find an account and click its View register option.
  2. Hit your Clear filter/View all link. This can be found above the column headers.
  3. Check your Funnel (Filter) icon above the Date column.
  4. Set the filters to All, or whatever you'd prefer for them to be.
  5. Select Apply.

 

If it's still not appearing, it could be linked to a different account register. You can search for it in other accounts.

 

It's also possible your transaction wasn't deposited yet. If so, you can make a bank deposit for it.
