You have two options for locating a customer's deposits, and I'm happy to share the complete steps for each. Consequently, you can complete your tasks in QuickBooks.

Option 1: You can generate and modify the Deposit Detail report. Proceed as follows:

1. Select the Report Center from the Reports menu.
2. Select Banking and select the Deposit Detail report option.
3. Click Customize and then choose the tab you wish to modify.
4. Find the deposit and double-click it in the list.
5. Tap Delete.

Option 2: You can delete the account from the Chart of Accounts. Follow the below steps:

1. From the Lists menu, choose Chart of Accounts.
2. Select the desired accounts from the lists.
3. Locate the deposit amongst the lists. Then, ensure that the invoice's Amount and Name are accurate.
4. Press Command-D, then OK. 

Once complete, click the payment link displayed on the invoice to delete the payment. 

Remember to reconcile your bank and credit card accounts. This allows us to ensure that they correspond to your actual bank and credit card statements.
