My last statement reconciled but this one is off when I start. How do I find changes that have been made since the previous reconcile?

Thanks for visiting the Community today, donnahrichards.

You’ve got me here to help find the history of changes to your last reconciliation. Let’s open the Reconciliation Change Report to view any modifications to the transactions.

Here’s how:

  1. Tap the Accounting menu to select Reconcile.
  2. On the Reconcile an account page, hit the History by account link in the upper right to view more information.
  3. In the Account drop-down, enter the correct bank.
  4. Hover your mouse to the correct statement ending date and click on it to expand the line.
  5. Press the View Report link to open the Reconciliation Change Report.
  6. Then, click the Statement Ending date drop-down to set the correct period.
  7. Next, review the entries from the list.
  8. Go to the Amount Change column and click the amount to open the transaction details.
  9. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap the More button to select Audit History.
  10. From there, you’ll see when and who updated the transaction.

You may want to undo the previous reconciliation and reconcile again to fix the issue. Before proceeding, I still suggest consulting to keep your records correct.

For future reference, these guides cover the complete instructions on how to resolve reconciliation problems. Select which one suits your situation.

If you need further assistance performing any of these steps, post a comment below. I’ll be glad to lend a helping hand. Have a great day ahead.

This would be a very helpful feature, but it does not appear to exist in the current version of quickbooks online.
