Hi there, gpowell-stellarb.

I recognize the importance of being able to use the bank feeds smoothly. This can help save time and download transactions smoothly. Let’s perform some basic troubleshooting to fix the issue.

Before we proceed, may I know the name of your Financial Institution? Did you encounter any errors when connecting the account? This is to check if we have a reported issue.

Here are some of the possible reasons you're unable to connect your account to QBO:

  • It’s performing system maintenance.
  • There are notifications from their website that need your attention.

When you’re ready, let’s log in to your financial institution’s website. Then check if there are alerts that need your attention. If there’s none, open QBO and perform a manual to refresh the connection.

  1. Tap the Banking menu on the left panel and choose the Banking tab.
  2. From the drop-down, select the account you’re working on.
  3. Then, hit the Update button.

If you receive any errors, go to Step 4 in this article and click on the link for the error number: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
