How do I get QB to put small amount of money on my bank account so I can finally verify the account

QB asks me to verify my bank account but has not send small money amount to the account so I can verify it

Let's try checking the status of your direct deposit to check if the verification is successful.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Select Company under Bank Accounts.
  3. Depending on the status, this is what will appear:
    • Connected/Active: Bank account details connected to send payroll with QuickBooks Online and option to Update it.
    • Pending: "We're getting your bank account ready." Information about test transaction will also show.
    • Waiting for verification: You have the option to enter test transaction.
    • Failed: "Update your bank account. We couldn't verify this bank account."

If it's not verified and you didn't receive the test amount to verify, I suggest contacting our Payroll Support. This is because you only have one attempt to verify a test transaction. They can pull up your account in a secure environment and help you finish the verification process.

 

Here's how to reach them: 

  1. Click the Help button at the top-right corner.
  2. Enter a description of your concern, then select Let's talk.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  4. Choose a way to connect with a live agent.
