How do I import a transaction history from an excel spreadsheet to quickbooks online?
I need to import our bookkeepers transactions into quickbooks and then reconcile with the bank.

Let me share some details and guide you in importing those transactions.
QuickBooks can only read transactions through supported formats such as CSV, QFX, QBO, OFX, or TXT files. You usually download these files from your bank.
Now that you've prepared your file. Here are the steps to import transactions inside QuickBooks:
- Go to Transactions tab, then make sure to select Banking.
- Click the drop-down button for Link account and select Upload from file.
- Select Browse and choose the .CSV file. Then, click on Next.
- Select the QuickBooks Account where you want to upload it, and hit Next.
- Select a Date and a date format.
- Choose column 2 for Description
- Amount statement fields must be selected based on how the amounts are shown on the file.
- 1 column: both positive and negative numbers
- 2 column: separate positive and negative numbers
8. Click on Next.
9. Put a checkmark on those transactions you want to upload and again click Next.
10. Click on Yes to import and then Let's go!
Once done, you may start reconciling your account inside QuickBooks Online.
